Connor's restraint vanishes, his hand sliding to John's waist and holding him close as they kiss. It deepens easily, his mouth opening to let John in and his tongue matching every little stroke and flick. It's hot and fast and he doesn't care about being careful -- it doesn't feel like a first kiss, it just feels right, like as hesitant as John was about the whole thing it's suddenly perfect for them both.

It's so intense that he's shaking just a little, especially when Sophie nips his neck and her warmth against his back vanishes. He knows exactly where she's going.
