Any questions about ingredients/allergens/add ins/etc, pricing on custom orders of other types of cookies (oatmeal raisin, sugar cookies, macaroons, the list goes on!!!) or special requests: please let me know and I'll get back to you asap! I can flavor the shortbread with just about anything, like lemon or earl grey tea for example, or do them as thumbprints or dipped. Things like jams and chocolates and such can also be customized. You can absolutely freeze the drier cookies: shortbread, snickerdoodles, peanut butter freeze great. I've never tried freezing the ricotta chip or espresso brownie but those are moister cookies so might lose some texture, and you can't freeze the sandwiched cookies because of the jam.
Gluten free versions/requests will take an extra 3 days to allow the wheat flour in the air to settle, but this guarantees the treats safe for those with celiac's or gluten sensitivities.
For those who don’t know, I am a dogwalker/petsitter. This is a job that requires people to go to work and travel, and coronavirus concerns have seen my next several months’ worth of jobs cancelling for wfh and travel restrictions, so I am in financial trouble but also free to bake! Turnaround time should only be a few days, then shipping two to three.
Also re: coronavirus concerns: My household is not ill but to be extra safe I have been sterilizing my kitchen daily before baking (my mother the microbiologist gave tips) and not only constantly handwashing but wearing food service gloves while handling ingredients and packing orders so I can be sure not to touch anything else. But there is also no evidence of it being transmitted through food and mail services should be safe and continuing.
Thank you for your consideration!

-Lemon Shortbread
-Earl Grey Shortbread
-Ricotta Chip
I tried the lemon shortbread first- A buttery, flaky shortbread cooking with a light, lemony glaze on top! To be honest, they are phenomenol. Perfect Coffee/tea biscuits to have with your morning Joe. Ana managed to absolutely nail the tart/sweet on the lemon glaze without it overpowering the cookie. EXCELLENT.
Next was Ricotta Chip! I didn't know what to expect from it, as I had never had them before- it's a very soft, almost cake-like texture, but with a very nice creamy cookie flavour! Chocolate chips of course and just absolutely satisfying for those of us with sweet tooths (sweet teeth?). If you like a crunchy or crispy cookie, it may not be your speed, but if you love delicious soft cookie, this is what you wanna go for.
Finally, the Earl Grey Shortbread. An unexpected favourite from me! I'm not a big tea drinker, but something about the flavour and the texture of the cookie is absolutely stupendous. Again, nice crunch without being hard or crackly, all arrived intact and portioned in KAWAII BARS. Deliciously buttery, I'm gonna be chomping them with my coffee this whole weekend.
AND TO REVIEW ANA:
Absolutely chill and communicative the whole time, including about possibly delays due to the lockdown in NYC. Got everything safe and secure, packaged carefully, and with her keeping me updated. Payment was super easy. All together a sweet and fun experience that I came away from with 72 cookies.
Re: REVIEWS
I've never had cookies quite like the ricotta chip but they're always soft, fluffy and incredibly delicious! The lemon shortbread is one that I've had before and knew I would like, but then she added a glaze this time that made them even more amazing. The Earl Grey shortbread cookies were a new flavor to me but are also tasty and I'm looking forward to eating more of them.
If you need more proof that her cookies are amazing, I'm always torn between wanting to share them with other people so they can also experience the tastiness and hoarding them all for myself. I'm going to share (some of) them this time, but it was a tough decision!

I'm also a HUGE fan of the mexican hot chocolate cookies I ordered. (I've peeked online to see if I could potentially make something similar to tide me over so as not to overwhelm Ana with cookie orders but quickly decided that nope, nothing else sounds remotely as good as what I've tasted.) They're spicy and rich and they've gone over really well with my household!
Also the overall experience with ordering from Ana has been fantastic. She's accomodating and prompt about orders. I've gotten my cookies in a remarkably fast turnaround both times I've ordered from her, considering the situation we're in. A+, would recommend, am going to keep coming back to get cookies.
